Dr. NG first practised as an interior designer in residential and commercial projects and as a set designer in Radio Television Hong Kong. Then she joined the Curriculum Development Institute (Visual Arts) of Education and Manpower Bureau as Project Co-ordinator in curriculum design and teaching materials. Later she attained substantial experience in teaching, exhibition, programme management and revalidation, dissertation guidance and curriculum planning in various colleges. Her thesis is about environmentally-friendly design in hotel industries. Other papers include commodified images of wedding packages, needs assessment of design students.

Dr. Ben-Piet Venter has been lecturing Marketing, Public Relations, and other related business subjects in South Africa, South Korea, and China since 1997 after he spent 15 years working in the fields of advertising, public relations and marketing in South Africa and Namibia. Dr Venter has delivered lectures by invitation at several universities in the USA, Europe, and South East Asia. He has published several peer reviewed papers and textbooks on marketing communication and has consulted with some major South African-based multinational companies, one of which is Media 24, a large shareholder in the tencent group. Dr. Iceman LEUNG is an active psychometric researcher, design educator and design professional. He had received his EdD (EdUHK), MSc (HKPolyU) and BA (HKPolyU).In 2006, he was appointed as Subject Specialist (2006-2012) at the HKCAAVQ; Certified Assessors for RPLSQF by VTC (Publishing and Printing); Chairman of Hong Kong Design Community (2010-2012); Certified as Adobe Certified Educator (2011). Dr Leung is a member of the Art Directors Club (New York), Design Research Society (UK), Psychometric Society, National Council on Measurement in Education and Founder of Hong Kong Design Directory (www.designdirectory.hk).

Design professionalism: Dr. Leung had served in graphic design and advertising agency for over 20 years since 1990. He was a freelance designer of 4A advertising agency and a local graphic designer. From 1996, Iceman worked as the art director of Lingo Design and Creative Director of W&M Group to develop the brand identity system and visual communication design. In 2005, he was invited to join the global brand “ORCA” as a brand designer to develop the global marketing communication strategy in Hong Kong. In 2006, Iceman was head-hunted by AQUENT as the art director for Philips Design (HK). In 2007, he was appointed as a design education manager of the Hong Kong Design Centre to implement the Hong Kong Design Directory website and BODW event. In 2010, he was invited by PAE (Beijing) to develop the global designers assessment system. Dr Leung is actively developing the objective measurement in cognitive process dimension of creativity and objective research methods in psychometrics and educational measurement.

Mr. Paul Kwok Keung CHAN

Mr. Paul Kwok Keung CHAN is a part-time lecture in CCM. He had received his MDes of Interaction Design in Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2008). Mr. CHAN founded Pauldesign Ltd. in 2001, he had fruitful experience in design and business. Mr. CHAN work with different client from Apple, Visa, Red earth, Chanel, Johnnie Walker, Denon, Shure, DuPont and HK public client like MTR, Octopus, etc. Mr. CHAN was a visiting lecture in HKU Space, Institute for China Business (2016-2018), Hong Kong Communication colleague in HKPoluU (2008-2011) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2006-2007). His specialization including interaction, retail and design management.

Ms KK Wanqi WAN
